Q: My Game is coming up telling me I'm using a hacking tool

A: Gracia Part 4(Epilogue): Grab http://lineage.amnet.net.au/patch/ct2pt4_l2.rar and http://lineage.amnet.net.au/patch/wildcard_epilogue.rar  and replace the files in the lineage/system directory with the ones in the rar files.

1) Unrar (Winrar) the files in your LineageII/system directory and ensure you put l2.exe into that directory as well.

2) Run L2.exe 

NOTE: If running l2.exe fails   - there are V1 and V2 sub directories with other L2.exe's  - copy from them into the system directory (one at a time) and try it.
One of them should work. 


Q: I can't connect, it keeps telling me I have an incorrect user/password.

A1: Check your hosts file has the following entries

203.161.118.130 nprotect.lineage2.com

203.161.118.130 l2authd.lineage2.com

203.161.118.130 l2testauthd.lineage2.com

If you go to start -> run, type "cmd" and press

in the window type "ping l2authd.lineage2.com" it should return 203.161.118.130

If it doesn't your hosts file has been hijacked (Virus/Spyware).

 

A2: You're trying a username that already exists - try a new one (If you're a new player).

 

Q: I am stuck and can't log in (frozen on the loading screen)

A: In the In Game Account Manager under the Players menu you have the option to move your character to a town. This fixes just about all issues (If not, contact Cinam).
